Stone County Busted Mugshot Records
Sheriff Brandon Long heads the Stone County Sheriff's Office. That office runs the county detention center and its jail records. The people booked there arrive from several directions. Mountain View police, sheriff's deputies, probation and parole staff, and other authorized agencies can all make the arrest. Whoever makes it, the person lands in the same county system, and a photograph gets taken at intake for identification.
That photo joins a fuller custody file. Intake ties together the identity, the arrest time, the booked charges, and related facts. Selected pieces then surface through the sheriff-linked RPS/MyR2M interface. A Stone County busted mugshot is one slice of that booking record, a snapshot of how someone looked at processing.
Stone County Booking Record Fields
What the public sees is a trimmed view of a bigger custodial file. Arkansas jail-log rules call for identifying details, custody times, reasons for confinement, officer and warrant data, and material like fingerprints and photos when it applies. Stone County's public cards deliver plenty of that. What they lack, at least in list view, is a booking number or a distinct facility field.
| Public field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Name and photograph | The identity and intake image presented on the roster card. |
| Race, sex, and age | Demographic details entered in the booking data. |
| Reported address | An entered city and state address, not proof of residence or incident location. |
| Arrest date and agency | When the arrest was recorded and which agency made it. |
| Booked charges | Charges recorded at intake. |
| Bond and court data | Amounts, dates, times, and court names when those fields are populated. |
Read blank fields with care. An empty bond or court line does not mean no bond was set or no hearing exists. The space may be incomplete, inapplicable, or tied to a hold, a sentence, or a later order. When in doubt, call the jail or the court. An address on a Stone County booking record is another trap; it does not mark where the arrest happened. Agency records or court filings show the event location more reliably.
Note: A booking record, incident report, warrant record, probable-cause affidavit, citation, and court docket are distinct records with different custodians.
Request Stone County Busted Records
The Stone County Sheriff's FAQ lays out what the office will hand over under Arkansas public-records law: jail booking records, incident or offense reports, accident reports, warrant records, and citations. Want an older Stone County busted mugshot? Ask by name. The public roster keeps no long-term archive. Request both the releasable booking record and the photo taken at intake.
- Give the full name, an approximate arrest or booking date, and the arresting agency if known.
- Name the exact items wanted. Separate the jail booking record and photograph from any incident report or court filing.
- Ask whether each item is releasable, what format is available, and what charge applies before paying.
- If material is withheld, ask which exemption applies and whether nonexempt portions can be released.
- Use the court docket as a separate check for filed charges, hearings, and the final disposition.

Copies of reports carry a published $10 charge. Stone County posts no separate price for booking photos and no photo turnaround figure. Assume nothing on either point. The phone line is answered around the clock; office hours for walk-ins run narrower. Skip the sheriff's web contact form for anything sensitive, since it is not monitored at all times.
Arkansas Busted Mugshot Law
Access rides on the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. § 25-19-101 et seq., within its exemptions. The sheriff flags categories that may stay closed: active investigations, some personnel records, juvenile material, sealed or expunged matters, and ACIC or NCIC data. Restricted access proves nothing about the reason. It only means the public source withheld the record.
A 2021 law, Act 450, added Ark. Code Ann. § 4-75-102 to target private publish-for-pay websites that charge to remove a booking photo. It sets out a written-request process and a civil remedy for covered conduct. The official Stone County roster is untouched by it, and it creates no broad deletion right over news reports or free archives.
Fixing things starts at the source. Correct a wrong Stone County booking record with the sheriff, or ask the court about sealing if the case qualifies. Arkansas sealing, under Ark. Code Ann. § 16-90-1401 et seq., depends on the offense, the outcome, completion of sentence, and other facts. The Arkansas Judiciary forms index is a solid official starting point, but the court order controls in the end. No single safe waiting period fits every case.
Once the source record is corrected or sealed, go to the publisher. Use its free correction or removal form, then ask the search engine to refresh its cache. The Busted Newspaper free form and Recently Booked no-fee policy both cover supported errors, sealed records, mistaken identity, duplicates, or qualifying outcomes. Test Mugshots.zone's Stone contact route before counting on it. No verified free record-level process exists for the Stone County pages on Mugshots.com or Arrests.org. Never pay a middleman just for promises of speed; money cannot change an agency record or a court disposition.
Note: A sealing order changes legal access where applicable, but it cannot automatically recall every copy already published or indexed.
Older Stone County Booking Photos
Arkansas law sets a floor for how long booking files survive. Under Ark. Code Ann. § 13-4-404, a jail booking record covers photos, fingerprint cards, and detention logs. The county must keep the file for at least five years before disposal. Online visibility is a different matter entirely. A Stone County busted mugshot can vanish from a roster card the moment custody changes, even while the paper file sits intact in storage.
Hunting an older photo? Ask the sheriff directly whether the record is still held locally, moved to another county system, or transferred elsewhere. Be specific. Give a name, a date range, and the exact item you want. For records of lasting historical value, the Arkansas State Archives preservation program serves as a fallback. It is not a live inmate search. Newspaper archives add color, but they cannot match the provenance of an official booking image.
Note: The five-year retention minimum does not require online display, nor does it compel disposal on the fifth anniversary.
Why Stone County Busted Photos Display
Booking photos show up right inside the current Stone County roster cards and the recent-booking views. The sheriff links to that vendor-hosted interface, so it counts as the official public route even though it lives off the sheriff's domain. What is missing is policy. No Stone County page explains when a photo gets left out, how quickly it appears, or how long it stays up.
That silence matters. If an image is absent, call it exactly that: an image not shown in the public interface. Do not guess at age, sealing, or a technical glitch. Act 450 will not fill the gap either, since it targets payment-linked removal by private publishers rather than the sheriff's own display choices.
Stone County Roster Is Broader
The Stone County Detention Center opened in 1994. Expansion later brought it to 40 beds across four units. The population inside is mixed. Pretrial detainees sit alongside people awaiting local court action, post-conviction prisoners headed to the Arkansas Department of Corrections, and Act 309 state prisoners. That mix makes the roster broader than a simple list of today's arrests.
An old arrest date can still mean current custody. A probation entry may reflect supervision action, not a new bust. Act 309 placements even blur the county and state lines. So read the arrest date, agency, charge, court field, and custody source together before drawing any conclusion about what the roster shows.
Find Stone County Busted Mugshots
Start with the official channel that fits the person's custody situation. No single system captures every Stone County arrest. A citation without jail intake may never produce a booking photo. Someone booked in a neighboring county shows up there instead. Sealed, juvenile, confidential, or unentered records may simply not be public at all.
- Check New Inmates for a person booked during the rolling 48-hour window.
- Check Current Inmates if confinement is expected, including a booking older than 48 hours.
- Check Recent Releases if the person may have left the jail during the last 48 hours.
- Use the sheriff records channel for older, absent, or unpublished county booking records and photographs.
- Use Search ARCourts for the case after booking, ADC for state custody, and the correct federal locator for federal custody.
An empty result proves nothing. A misspelling, a different booking county, a mere citation, withheld data, or a closed web window can all leave a name missing. When the search stalls, contact the sheriff directly. Then check Arkansas court records next.
Note: Search the official source again before relying on a saved roster card because custody and court fields can change.
Stone County Mugshot Search Channels
Go to official Stone County sources first. They define who is in custody now, and they preserve the agency's own record. News outlets and commercial republication sites belong later in the process. Their cards lag, repeat stale bookings, or stay online long after a release.
| Channel | Photo? | Custody slice and access |
|---|---|---|
| Current Inmates | Yes, visibly | Official sheriff-linked view for people classified as held now. |
| New Inmates | Yes, when entries display | Official rolling 48-hour booking view. |
| Recent Releases | Roster-style record | Official 48-hour release view, not current custody. |
| Sheriff records | By specific request | Older or unpublished county booking files, subject to law. |
| ADC population search | Often | State correctional custody, not ordinary county arrests. |
| Stone County Leader and regional news | Sometimes | Event-driven context, not a full arrest or mugshot feed. |
| County commercial pages | Often | Unofficial reposts that may be stale, incomplete, or duplicated. |
The commercial landscape for Stone County includes Busted Newspaper, Recently Booked, Mugshots.com, Arrests.org, and Mugshots.zone. Recently Booked offers a rolling 30-day view. Compare that with the sheriff's own recent-booking window of just 48 hours. Treat none of these private pages as proof of current custody or a final outcome. Confirm every entry against the sheriff and Arkansas court records.
The county landing-page capture documents an unofficial republication source. It does not establish that a person remains in Stone County custody.
Busted and Booked in Stone County
The Stone County Current Inmates roster runs on RPS/MyR2M and carries the sheriff's link. Booking photographs display right on the cards. What you won't find is a written photo policy, a fixed update schedule, or a promised retention period. Describe only what the screen shows when you search.
The interface offers Select Name for searching, plus Sort By and page-size controls for browsing. A card may include the photo, full name, age and demographics, reported address, arrest date and time, arresting agency, charges, bond, and court details. Search by identity first. A city in the address field is not a filter, and it does not prove where the arrest happened.
The official roster also explains why a person can be found by name while still held. Open the current Stone County roster source before reviewing the capture below.
The capture documents the roster's controls and publication format without turning individual booking photos into a local gallery.
- Choose a name when known, then review alternate spellings if the expected record is absent.
- Read the arresting agency and arrest time before treating the card as a new county booking.
- Check bond and court fields only as time-stamped roster data, since either can change.
- Use the court name and date to continue into the official docket.
Stone County Busted Booking Feeds
One roster system, three views. New Inmates covers bookings from the past 48 hours. Current Inmates shows everyone still held, regardless of booking date. Recent Releases flips the window. It lists releases from the past 48 hours, so an old arrest can show up with a fresh release time.
Expect gaps. Nothing inside a 48-hour window can leave the page empty. That alone does not mean the feed is dead. Neither the county nor the roster vendor publishes a refresh interval or a guaranteed delay between booking and web. There is no same-day page, weekly log, or archive to fall back on. The heading on the Stone County 48-hour booking feed sets the window, and the capture below shows the interface as recorded.
The recorded page makes one thing plain. This is a rolling list of fresh bookings. It is not the full jail roster. It is not a same-day feed. Want the other side of the window? The Stone County 48-hour release feed has its own capture below.
A release entry means local confinement ended, nothing more. It is not the current jail population.
Note: Someone booked 49 hours ago may vanish from New Inmates yet remain on Current Inmates if still confined.
Stone County Booking Apps and Alerts
Two different tools live behind the roster. They get mistaken for each other. One is the vendor-operated RPS-Inmate Info app for iOS and Android. Its store description promises a name and picture, arrest location and date, release date, charges, PBR, court date, and 24-hour arrested-or-released updates. It is not a Stone County Sheriff product. Confirm county coverage and each feature after installing.
The other tool is the sheriff's own alert signup by email and text. Options include General notices, Message From the Sheriff, Most Wanted, and Press Releases. These follow selected agency publications, not the full booking feed. Delivery is not guaranteed. The official Stone County alert source shows the publication choices, with the capture below.
The interface confirms what can be selected, and keeps booking feeds, wanted notices, and general messages in separate categories.
Note: Mountain View’s Everbridge link is an emergency notification service, not a Stone County booking photograph or arrest feed.
Stone County Custody Notifications
When custody status matters more than a photo, Arkansas VINE is the official alternative. Search by name, offender or booking number, case number, ADC number, or supervision PID, then register for telephone, email, SMS, or TTY notices covering custody, court, or supervision changes.
VINE publishes its own transfer schedule: county jail data every 15 minutes, ADC data hourly, court and supervision data daily. Those clocks belong to VINE, not to the county roster. Automated notices can lag or miss events, so urgent questions still go to the holding agency.
Stone County Busted Case Outcomes
A roster card often names a court, Stone County District or Circuit, plus a date. That is the handoff. Open Search ARCourts. Enter the name. Narrow to Stone County and the named court. Then match the arrest date, charge, case number, or scheduled event before tying a docket to a person.
Dockets can show a lot. Filings, first appearances, arraignments, bond orders, continuances, pleas, trials, dismissals, judgments, sentences, appeals, and sealings all appear. An arraignment is where charges and a plea are addressed. A disposition is the case outcome. A nolle prosequi entry generally means the prosecution declined to proceed with that charge at that point. The actual order controls, and confidential cases may never surface publicly. For how things ended up, the official Arkansas case search is the right stop, with its captured interface below.
The search interface carries a booking card forward to the court record, where the final result belongs.
Note: Match more than a name before linking a court case to a booking, especially when several people share that name.
Stone County Record by Custody
Where a record lives depends on custody. Release, transfer, or court action can move the useful source, even while an old busted mugshot lingers on some unofficial page.
| Status | Best source | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Just booked | New Inmates, then Current Inmates | A booking within 48 hours and possible current custody. |
| Held locally | Current Inmates | The roster’s current classification when loaded. |
| Released recently | Recent Releases | A release event within 48 hours, not dismissal. |
| Older county booking | Sheriff records and court | The retained booking file and later case events. |
| Awaiting ADC transfer | County roster, then ADC | A transition that may briefly span both systems. |
| State correctional custody | ADC population search | State status, location, sentence data, and a photo where published. |
| Federal or ICE custody | BOP or ICE locator | A separate federal custody system, not a county booking archive. |
State or federal custody changes the lookup. The Arkansas Department of Corrections population search covers state correctional custody only, not every Stone County arrest. ADC profiles can show an ADC number, status or location, offense and sentence details, and a photo. The Bureau of Prisons locator handles federal prisoners but posts no photos. ICE's detainee locator covers immigration detention; no Stone County ICE detention contract was verified.
Busted Mugshots Across Stone County
Stone County has two incorporated places. Mountain View runs its own police department, yet the city publishes no daily arrest log or mugshot feed. Anyone its officers arrest and jail locally shows up through the county detention system instead. Fifty-Six has no verified municipal police publication either, so the sheriff's roster and records channel remain the practical path for arrest and booking information. Fox is unincorporated and adds no separate city page.
- Mountain View Busted Mugshots covers the city police and county booking handoff.
- Fifty-Six Busted Mugshots explains the county-first search path for the smaller municipality.
A city name on a roster card tells you little. It does not say where the incident happened. For that, look to the arresting agency's report, the probable-cause record, and the court filing. Regional news can add color. But its event-driven stories never replace the official Stone County roster or the court's disposition.
